"As a reader of your text, I create my own meaning; in effect I add my own authoring to your text. In this way, the whole of life can be seen as a living “real time” process of simultaneous reading and writing, producing evolving and diverse patterns of meaning."
In the fishbowl, we are creating words and comparing meanings to things in our everyday life. We create, and others pro-create and add to meanings to words, creating a vast area of learning. This living in "real time" is overwhelming. The coexisting and presentness is time consuming and tedious. It is all for the bettering of our future. Why can't everything be for the bettering of now? These patterns are everywhere. Sitting in the business school, I see everyone emersed in their work and with their heads down. We need to look up, and understand that we can live for both today and tomorrow.
