Realize:
definition: become fully aware of (something) as a fact; understand clearly.
Personal link: After trying skiing for the first time, I realized that given enough effort, even a foreign activity can be learned

Experience:
Definition: practical contact with and observation of facts or events.
Personal link: Coming to a new state for school has given me the experience of just how different an area and culture can be only a few hours from home.

Happen:
Definition: take place; occur.
Personal link: Each day you will never truly know what might happen

See:
Definition: perceive with the eyes; discern visually
Personal link: You should pay attention during your travels throughout the day as you never know what you might see.

Scheme:
Definition: a large-scale systematic plan or arrangement for attaining some particular object or putting a particular idea into effect
Personal link: Living as a college student has definitely cause me to make more than a few money saving schemes.

Re-design:
Definition: design (something) again or in a different way
Personal link: Even some of my best plans in life have sometimes needed to be re-evaluated and re-designed.

Possibility:
Definition: a thing that may happen or be the case
Personal link: If you leave your mind open to new ideas, you never know when a great possibilities may rear their head.

Challenge:
Definition: a call to take part in a contest or competition, especially a duel
Personal link: Any challenge that you face can be logically and overcome if you keep your cool.

Talisman:
Definition: an object, typically an inscribed ring or stone, that is thought to have magic powers and to bring good luck
Personal link: I've had talismans in my life, even if it was something simple like a luck penny, but whether they truly worked is up in the air.

Definition: carefully choose as being the best or most suitable
Personal link: Selecting the right major to best suit my interests required a lot of trial and error.

Word:
Definition: a single distinct meaningful element of speech or writing, used with others (or sometimes alone) to form a sentence and typically shown with a space on either side when written or printed
Personal link: Throughout my life I've tried to expand my understanding of the many different words to become more eloquent.

Prevail:
Definition: prove more powerful than opposing forces; be victorious
Personal link: In times of hardship and stress, I've learned that being calm and collected will always prevail over knee jerk reactions.

Mull:
Definition: think about (a fact, proposal, or request) deeply and at length
Personal link: I've had many decisions that I've needed time to mull over to understand fully.

Digest:
Definition: break down
Personal link: Mulling over an idea gives me time to digest the facts and information more clearly and fully.
