"Doing Construction"

My group has gotten along very well throughout this process. Even though we are all very busy, we find time to get our work done together, even if we can only dedicate 10 minutes each at different times of the day or week. I look forward to working with them on the next 2 10+1 step assignments, especially since we now know how to do it and can put more effort into making it better instead of making it right.

"Science of Networks"

I feel like sometimes as a society, we tend to separate science from our normal lives. We don't think of science as what we go through and create in our everyday doings... and we definitely don't think of ourselves as scientists. It's an interesting perspective to see ourselves as participating in science by creating discussion and imagery with one another.

"Reader Response Theory"

Readers really do bring life into things. Without a reader, words on a page are just stamps of ink on processed shavings of trees. Without a reader, the words don't invoke thoughts, images, emotion, or anything else, simply because they aren't being comprehended if they aren't read. It's almost like when someone asks, "if a tree falls in a forest and there is nobody around to hear it, does it still make a noise?"

"Your Fishbowl is your Youtube Channel"

I can see how P.K. Subban's youtube channel is bound to succeed. He has the knowledge and experience he needs to be able to give correct information and advice to his audience. He can speak based on what he's gone through in his career.

"Self-Driven Agenda"

I definitely agree that we learn from each other. I learn new things from my peers every single day. I pay professors to teach me new things. I read a lot. I google a lot of random things that I feel compelled to know about. But those books and articles come from others. Everything we learn comes from one another.

"Simulating Complex Adaptive Systems"

It's fun to think about how our fishbowls and our papers are imaginative abstracts of SOMETHING that all come from NOTHING. There was nothing in the fishbowl at the start of this semester. Everyone was a bit confused for a while. Now, almost at the end of the semester, there is a plethora of information in the fishbowl, and every single post is born from each of our individual imaginations and thought processes. I look forward to continuing my contribution to this.

"Morning Thoughts: Developing a Voice"

I think we all have a voice already. We always have. Right now, and for the past few years, it's been all about developing our ideas, thoughts, and opinions, and learning how to use that voice effectively and efficiently. "It is your voice that has to be heard, if you want your action to have an impact" - this is true - we cannot expect to get anything done without using our voices.

"Looking Forward to Reading"

I actually like doing the felt-experience exercise. It's interesting to see our words form into stories like that. I also like learning more about my group members and seeing how their minds work based on how they choose to construct their portions of our assignments.

"Simultaneous Reading and Writing"

Now that I'm thinking about it, the process of simultaneous reading and writing happens whenever we read text. It could be someone else's schoolwork or even a story from a book. Either way, it always happens.

"Reflecting Mid-Way"

We add value to the fishbowl with every post we make. I look forward to adding even more value in the future and contributing to this wonderful web.

"Reflecting a New Society"

Our networks and visual realities are all part of the society of the fishbowl, which is a society that is unfamiliar to us, compared to the ones we've been living in for our whole lives. Completing the 10+1 assignments allow for us to contribute value to our new society.

"Further Reflection on your Performance"

I would agree that our fishbowls are complex. Although we all read and respond to the same letters, different parts of these letters stick with different people, and each of us have our own thought process triggered by the words that we read.
