The Four Global Phenomenons
Throughout the course of the semester I spent my time within the fishbowl. This platform allowed me to enter and exercise my mind, just like a gymnasium. Here we are learning things to create a society where we can be successful. Within the fishbowl, everyone was broken up into groups. These groups were formed to make connections through our words that add value. The differences among our groups are from the words that we select, the meaning of the words, and how we connect them across these differences. We are entering the unknown that is constantly changing. To gain a better connection with one another, each group was told to meet with each other and write about the experience before and after. This sanctioned us to branch out, but did not hinder us from interacting among other groups. As a group, we explored the four global phenomenons; integrated networking structure, complex adaptive system, unique innovative capabilities, and dynamic decision making. Here we were entering the unknown with a given structure, restructuring and substituting the sentences to make it as simple as you can all while using the three concepts. You are sharing your knowing through self-reflection. Self-reflection is what goes through your mind when you think of a specific word text or image that you want to capture and share to add value. These highlight the fact that we are all unique.
The integrated networking structure was the first global phenomenon that we entered. This insinuated us to broaden our thinking and use an incident from our memories to connect the concepts. This was difficult at first, since it required deep thinking. Applying an experience that's grounded to reality allows the reader to interpret the image your telling. Each of these moments are fragile, meaning it goes away quickly but you want to capture these shifts. The experience i correlated to this phenomenon was the time I started becoming a lifeguard. I used this event in reference to the word structures I formed.
Proceeding from this we entered the second global phenomenon, a complex adaptive system. As we entered this, we were more familiar with what was being asked and had a solid base to go off of. Here I simplified and restructured into a complicated reactive structure. This aided me to relate my experience to our society. I explained how when you think of society, it is hard to understand the depth of it. Before taking this class, if someone were to ask me what I think the definition of society is, I would define it as a community of individuals that share common interests. After entering the fishbowl and applying the global phenomena, I would now explain how you can define them as integrated networking systems or complex adaptive systems and how these allow you to create your own value and connect the words to perceive the picture being told.
As I entered into the the last two global phenomenons, unique innovative capabilities and dynamic decision making, I observed how my critical thinking has developed through these structures. I learned how small impacts can change and affect the decisions you make, whether they are temporary or not. These decisions shape your character and your viewpoint. It opens up new avenues and paths where vocabulary is at the heart. The product you produce is the creation of your mind, not one mind is similar to another. Your experiences capture and forge your mind.
Looking back and reflecting the way I communicate has improved and shifted. The process to get here was rather long and chaotic but the outcome is deliberate, by using my inner self and building the journey inward. I initiated with an empty canvas, entering the structure to construct something, a painting through my words and symbols. We are here to not only help each other but to leverage each other, by making people want to open our messages and add value to them. This non-linear thinking is not to confuse your mind but instead about how it is impacting your critical thinking. We created our own reality where we experienced life by taking care of each other through the words we select and add. The fishbowl has allowed me to engage with others on this journey to knowledge. By sharing my experiences, I added value to the readers and developed a team. Through this course, my team has exchanged symbols and pushed each other's minds forward.
