"Mutation/Motion"

I often think about how information is technological now. I never experienced the world where students had to spend hours in the library looking up information that can now be returned by a single google search. Even though I never really experienced a world without smartphones, I somewhat miss the times when they didn't exist and people just interacted with each other face to face. The world was much slower paced then.

"Coming Close to the End - 1"

it's interesting to think about the 10+1 algorithm as a machine. We generally think of machines as technological/physical, not as writing assignments.

"Coming Close to the End - 2"

I don't think we were truly free within the fishbowl or during our 10+1 assignments. I think we had more freedom in the fishbowl relative to the 10+1 assignments because we had to follow very specific steps on specific words for those assignments, and work in groups of people that we did not choose.

"Action Learning"

I think our class participated in action learning during the course of the semester, as long as everyone was reading posts by other students and keeping in contact with their group members.
