Sharing information is important, not only for your own benefit for the rest of the class as well. It is powerful. You will be teaching others and they will be teaching you. One great idea can make something happen.

Everyone in the team has a different understanding and perception of each thing. What you are posting in the fishbowl is your opinion and view, that others are reading. We are seeing why one another thinks and acts the way we do.

Sharing the world: sentences/response

Post by Brookebolofsky » 08 Oct 2019, 18:54

Social meetings went well. It was a learning experience for everyone in the class.
Self-reflection: Self reflecting on what I have done throughout my time in college makes me happy to see all that I have accomplished.
Participative observation: The participant in game observed the other teams strategies.
Symbolic interaction: The symbolic meaning of the course allowed me to relate it to my life and society.
Auto-ethnography: It is important to use Auto-ethnography when reflecting on ones experience.
Dichotomous thinking: Dichotomous thinking was used when comparing and contrasting the good and bad of the situation.
Structures and structuring: The different ways that things are structured are important. For example, the way the course is structured is set up for the students to learn.
Interpretation: My interpretation was different than my classmates in the fishbowl. This is okay because it is a learning process.
Sharing thoughts and mental processes: It was key to sharing thoughts and my mental processes in the fishbowl to allow others to learn and for me to learn from others experiences.

The thoughts we wrote down were from our social meetings. Everyone is allowed to think how they want and understand things in their own way. Having your gut feeling or intuition is important in these situations.
