Group Meeting

Post by nicole_faiss » 02 Oct 2019, 13:38

A few weeks ago I attempted to get the contacts of those in my group. Listening intently to the attendance roll call I was able to decipher one of the two team members in my group. One was absent that day. Andrew and I went on the share each other's contacts. I emailed the other person but they never responded. Andrew and I decided we would meet up at Mew Tavern. A popular spot amongst URI students. We attempted for this meeting to be days sooner but he was heading back from Wisconsin and was tired. Throughout our conversation, it was very evident that Andrew was an agreeable person. The waiter ended up messing up our food and I seemed to care more than Andrew. When asking the waiter to redo our order he did so with composure. We talked about the usual where we were from (He is from Wayne, New Jersey.) He seemed a little apprehensive with really getting to know me but that's expected with such an unusual task we were given. Over the summer he worked as a supervisor for a construction company. I have knowledge of the industry and I can see how he could be good at this, I sensed his meticulousness in his appearance which is needed in this field. Overall we had a good meeting getting to know each other and he made me feel comfortable.

Hello My name is Joe, apologies for my lack of correspondence. I use my account at jdjoedowning@gmail.com and not my uri address and haven't been to class frankly because I work more than full time lately and just try to contribute on the fishbowl. I have been to the Mews a few times, great spot, wish I could of made it, living in Newport and working a lot makes it difficult at times to make time for other things. But much respect to you guys for following through and hope all is well and best wishes moving forward with the class.
