Rabindranath Tagore: poet, musician, and artist from the Indian subcontinent. He introduced new prose and verse forms and the use of colloquial language into Bengali literature, which freed it from traditional models based on classical Sanskirt. He is a highly influential person who received the noble prize for literature in 1913.

Anthony Giddens: a British sociologist who is known for his theory of structuration and his holistic view of modern societies. The theory of structuration explores the question of whether it is individuals or social forces that shape our social reality.
