Taking and Making Notes
9/10
Im looking at you, looking at me, looking at you
Your vocabulary reflects how you view the world, try mixing it up to get a better view
Theres no right or wrong
Main purpose of this class is to find yourself
You take notes and you make notes
Your learning won't be in the class it will be learned outside through reflection
What is the image in your mind, how do you see the world?
We are all hubs of information that flows
We are learning one word at a time
We are learning how to write word structures
We are sharing images our words evoke
Society is made through texts and images
Im looking at you, looking at me, looking at you

Maximizing your money
Fishbowl is like a gymnasium, don't just enter, go in and exercise your mind
Three things: your mind, the words your typing, and your eyes
Everywhere you go your trying to form a society
When your in the fishbowl you are learning things to create a society and to be successful
Connectivity is big, because of the technology
I am making a commitment to read every text of my group members, to form a connection
Connection with other people will happen in my head
Through the exchange of symbols, which are words with a particular meaning
We lead symbolic life, we lead life with words, nothing exists outside of words
We add words to add value to the group, im carefully selecting words
Restructuring creates value, it's not difficult, it's fun, it creates value
Your notes are your negotiations
Your creating knowledge every time you put things in divisions and subdivisions
You're creating your own reality where you experience life, you’re taking care of each other by selecting words and adding to the group
All you need to do is stop in your tracks when you enter fishbowl
Distraction means i'm not slowing down, i'm not focusing
You enter fishbowl to create value for the other two
This course is about improving oneself
Creating stuff that people are willing to pay for
You have all the knowledge on your fingertips
Our differences are realized in our mental structures and we wanna get at that
These differences are from the words that we selected, the meaning of the words, and were trying to connect across these differences
Always ask “how so?”
Creating history as possible
You don't wanna copy someone else you want to experience it for yourself, look for differences

Were entering the unknown, it is constantly changing
You take one step in and your trying to figure out, then entering space
Your learning to construct meaning, your not searching for the truth of his letters
Can not read information and reproduce it
The approach is deconstruction, taking out words and looking up options to substate it, to reframe the structure
There's a difference between us, the difference is within the words you use
Are you innovated? Are you creative? You can only be innovated if you are open to different words to substitute, and open to different ideas
A word is also known as a symbol
There’s no right or wrong, you just need to take action
Social meeting exercise, was the beginning, it allowed you to branch out and meet your group
Your not limited to just your group, you can also interact among the other groups
Friendship in the workplace, when you have friends in the workplace it becomes easier to complete work
Intersubjective space: your looking at each other as symbols
Eyes looking at eyes
Your selected words, symbols, and ideas are making an impact to your group
Were learning non-linear thinking, it's not about being confused its about your mind and how it's impacting you, known as critical making
Critical thinking= different perspectives
Were craftsmen of words
Working to be a phenomenologist

Everything must be posted to fishbowl in order to be grades, hard copies are not mandatory but he will look at them and add comments
Should be posting regularly within the fishbowl
Creating a social within a context
Looking at a global situation
Diversity is great within your group, allows for viewpoints
Three people, how do you bring about the social
Barclett & Ghoslel
Factors of a successful business
First Step: Integrated network structure, is the opening sentence
Entering the unknown with a given a structure
Second Step: your gathering words
The bigger the dictionary the better
Third step: re writing the sentence
Your restructuring and substituting to make it as simple as you can but also by using all three concepts
Look up the word relate
Fourth step: your now in the first person (using “I”)
Your describing an incident, explaining it, its coming from your memory, you experienced it
It will take thinking, imagining, visualizing, but it must be grounded to reality and not fictional
You always wanna be the teller and not the told
Fifth step: Interaction
Reduction technique, and interpretation of cost
Your reducing it to one symbol
You don't want to be told what to do or what to think
Sixth step: done interactively
Choosing which two words out of 9 to form a dichotomy
Should be as unrelated as possible
Seven: do a word pool for the words, your back to being on your own
Eight: creating a jointly word structure out of the pool
An inflection point (step eight) means your ideas were going on way, now they are going another
Step nine: your on your own, doing a felt experience
Step ten: Perceptual categories
Step eleven: insight and realization
Dynamic decision making

Catch up to move on
Shift your attention in this course, what does that stake other things I’ve listed out
Your out there on your own creating things with text and images that create value
Your learning to create a better society
You are sharing your knowing through self reflection
Self reflection is what goes through your mind when you think of a specific word text or image, that is what you want to capture and share to add value, and create a sociology
Methods: Social constructionism, Symbolic Reaction, Action Research
You are apart of a network or hub
Were looking at diversity differently which highlights the fact that we are all unique
We are all footnotes but now at the center of the page
In the group to add value to the group
Learning to empower your text
Making people want to open your messages to add value
Enhancing each other, by looking about what others are doing
The journey is inward, that's why he had to remove the textbook
You are creating your own textbook
Learning to self organize yourself, you must always return to the sight
1: integrated networking structure
2: forming a word pool
3: principles?
4: put a felt experience that fits
5: read each others and give categories of words
6: put the words together
Pick out ⅔ words and link them together
Next week will hand in completed 10 steps as a team
Bring in hard copy
Don't be afraid of getting it right the first time

In the fishbowl you are a different persona
You decide what structure you are going to create
Were not helping each other we are leveraging each other
This is a singular fishbowl, the market has become singular
It's your life, your making it
Its experiential learning
Learning to theorize, it's not necessarily written, you need to understand what is driving you
We belong to social spaces of reality
Your connect to word, your connected to text
Perspective means distance to see picture
Your full of possibility
A common thing is that we want to make money
We are creating value to make money
It's all about learning from day one, as graduates you need to be a team leader to teach others.
Done integrated network structure
Next you will do complex adaptive systems, dynamic decision making, unique innovative capabilities
These complete all four, and include 40% of your grade
Characteristics of successful global businesses/ organizations
By the time you finish you should understand what they entail
Your own your own with the remaining three, with broad deadlines
Google deep thinking, is a skill you should put on your resume

Your self reflections need to have examples, don't use what you learn in another class, use something in your personal life.
Push your mind forward
Each moment is fragile meaning it goes away quickly but you want to capture the shifts
Always revisit what you have written
Take it further to make the words simpler
Learning is presiving in leaps and bounds
You've accomplished deep thinking, google it and add it to your resume
Reflexive leadership
Abstract expressionism (google term)
Captured and contrigured spotanisuously, contshenshuslly
Performative writing, you performed it when you acted on it
Started with an empty canvas, an empty page, you entered the structure and then you started creating something, a painting
Followed something intrinsically and americanly
Freedom and individualism
Your selection of you paper is about your freedom
Your papers are action oriented, not philosophical
Developing a form of writing, taking any form you want
Your representing something totally different, something singular
The choices you make are manifestations of your psyche
Your paper is a signature of your mind
An imprint of your mind
Your papers, you changed the way you think by going into your inner self
The journey is inward not outward
There's layers of depth in your papers, and it reads like chaos but its the outcome of a deliberate process
The process is the product, what you are selling
You have all over the place competitions without clear points
Fields of chaos, that anyone can do
Only you could have written that
No one can reproduce your paper
Performative writing and action learning
Sharing your technique and inviting the viewer to do the same
Jackson Pollock, inspiration excerpt

Dynamic Decision Making
Unique Innovative Capabilities
Your grades are determined by the 4 papers
In the second round you read it again, your rephrasing the sentence, and finding out what your trying to say
Only grading what is posted
The feedback is there to help you improve, and helping you pick on your vocabulary
The way you communicate should start to be making a shift by the way your learning
Your doing deep thinking when your answering how so
Your trying to get the story out of there head, your target
To come up with that anecdote you need to use deep thinking
Do not get into group assignments when explaining felt experiences
There must be a moment when the feeling of being a great team happened
Expect to read the letters, and respond if you are able
Need to keep reading the letters
The first hurdle is to get it out there by the 21st
Has 135 students, across 3 classes
Getting along in teams is critical
Senge, the learning organization
The friendship abstract is written better
The fishbowl is the ultimate learning opportunity
Inded 2020: sanjivdugal@uri.edu 16e49
Engagement and Expression, important for meaningful conversation

Four characteristics of globalization
Use your 10 + 1 structures
Explaining your experience with integrated structures throughout the fishbowl
Send video by wetransfer.com to urifishbowl@gmail.com
Clearhead Films
Pull out paragraphs of your own text
Want to get across your professional message
This is optional, there will be an alternative final
The paper is the abstract, your outcome
Your selling the concept, you explaining your steps
Dec 17th final time can catch up on the fishbowl until then
Need to do 10+1, vocab, then the letters
The four global phenomenon
Make it anecdotal, tell it in the context of the interaction in the fishbowl
Learning to speak at a certain level
Knowing and Knowledge
Written option, three pages (max), addressing the four global phenomenon, looking back at your experience, and reflecting on the DOING not the phenomenon
Look up the word Anecdote
It's the viewer who will make the link
Place the coat at the end
Your learning to abstract, framing the rest of the text
Enter with a syntax (look up word), your thoughts within that circle
Alain Badiou
Requires solitude, silence, and should be made into a daily routine
At the heart of everything is vocabulary
It will open new avenues or paths
The history of this course, he wanted to teach this through our images
If you don't share your experiences, your not adding any value
