Flexible - able to be easily modified to respond to altered circumstances or conditions.
Structure- the arrangement of and relations between the parts or elements of something complex.
As a student, it’s very important to be adaptive and flexible. We spend a lot of time moving between different places, home, different dorms, off campus houses etc. We also spend a lot of time doing work while handling life and everything that comes with it. School is a system that prepares us for the working world and is important for the progression of the individual in society. Sometimes school can be very complex and can cause students to be spread thin across many different things such as organizations, Greek life, personal life, classes, etc. At the end of the day, it’s all about finding balance.

Dynamic Decision Making
Step 1: Opening
Dynamic Decision Making
Step 2: Word Pool
Dynamic- (of a process or system) characterized by constant change, activity, or progress. Energetic, lively, active, spirited.
Decision- a conclusion or resolution reached after consideration. Resolution, conclusion, settlement.
Making- the process of making or producing something. Assembling, building, manufacturing, constructing.
Step 3: Restructuring
Energetic resolution production
Energetic- showing or involving great activity or vitality.
Resolution- a firm decision to do or not to do something.
Production- The action of making or manufacturing from components or raw materials, or the process of being so manufactured.
Step 4: Felt Experience
As a young kid, I was very energetic. I loved playing sports, running around, talking, etc. I got in trouble a lot at school, not because I was a bad kid, but because I was too energetic and talked too much. The school was a catholic school and very strict. My parents and teachers saw this as a problem. Their resolution for this was that I needed to read more and spend more time sitting still. To me, this is the worst possible resolution that could’ve ever been thought of. It didn’t help me at all. I felt like I had so much energy and creativity building up and being produced in me that needed to get out. It turned into me being nonchalant and not caring. For a long time, because of this, I had problems listening because I was always too focused on getting out what I had/wanted to say.
Step 5:
About my work: Express
About Darling’s work: Push
About Eric’s work:
Dichotomy: Riskful Push
Word Pool:
Riskful- Full of exposure to danger; possibility, chance, likelihood, risk, danger
Push- exert force on (someone or something), typically with one's hand, in order to move them away from oneself or the origin of the force; thrust, shove, propel, send
If we take advantage of the possibilities that life presents us with, we will push ourselves towards our future success.
In my early college career, I decided to take some classes I was interested in that were outside of my major. These classes were not easy and not advised. But if I didn’t come to college to learn, then what did I come for? When classes started to pick up, I realized why taking these classes at the same time wasn’t advised. I really had to push myself to learn and to apply myself. I didn't want to put my grades at risk in the process.

Capabilities- the powers or abilities to do something; ability, capacity, power, potential
Step 3: Restructuring

Potential- having or showing the capacity to become or develop into something in the future.
Step 4: Felt Experience
As a young adolescent, I struggled with middle school. I struggled to keep focus on my academics and was caught up in a whole bunch of other things. My parents and teachers often told me that I was not tapping into my potential. I knew I had very distinctive qualities but I really struggled to apply myself. As a person, I’ve always hated inconvenience. This is something that had been a barrier to my growth is many aspects. Because I hated inconvenience, it made stretching and applying myself all the more uncomfortable. As I advanced through high school and into college, I got to a place where I had to learn how to focus, study, and work because my career was in my hands. With my academics on the line, that is where I learned how to stretch.
Step 5:
About my work: growth
About Darling’s work: true
About Eric’s work:
Dichotomy: Applying inconvenience
Word Pool:
Applying- to give one's full attention to a task; work hard; try, appeal, appeal, petition
Inconvenience- trouble or difficulty caused to one's personal requirements or comfort.
Joint Structure
Although it is necessary to try out new experiences, it is best to avoid them when they potentially cause problems for all those involved.
Felt Experiences
You can not live life without having new experiences. Experience is what shapes, teaches, and helps you continue through life. However, it is not everything that needs to be learned through experience. There are some things that you should avoid because you already know the outcome regardless of if you have experienced it or not. Those situations can be to your detriment. Once, when I was younger, I took something from the store while I was with mom. I had already known the outcome and I should’ve just asked. When I got caught, like I had expected, I got into trouble. There was no point. I didn’t learn because I already knew, and this is something I should’ve avoided.
