Don Schon: The reflective practitioner- One of the most influential thinkers who helped develop reflective learning. He was also a professor in the department of Urban studies and Planning at MIT. He developed the concept of reflective practice and contributed to the theory of organizational learning.

Gilbert Simondon- A philosopher interested in individuation and technology. He was well known for his theory on individuation, where he saw the individual as a process (individuation) rather than a fixed entity.

Gilles Deleuze- A french philosopher who wrote on philosophy, film, literature and fine art. In addition, his theory is that concepts are not identity conditions or propositions, but metaphysical constructions that define a range of thinking.

This theory provides a framework for analyzing social complexity through exchangeability and fluidity.

Auto-ethnography- qualitative research in which the author uses self reflection and writing to explore personal experience.

Alain Badiou is a French philosopher, formerly chair of Philosophy at the École normale supérieure (ENS) and founder of the faculty of Philosophy of the Université de Paris VIII with Gilles Deleuze, Michel Foucault and Jean-François Lyotard. Badiou has written about the concepts of being, truth, event and the subject in a way that, he claims, is neither postmodern nor simply a repetition of modernity. Badiou has been involved in a number of political organisations, and regularly comments on political events. Badiou argues for a return of communism as a political force.
