This shape is great. I am very excited to see the progress and see how we each have impacted the abstract.

Re: Response to Letters: Workplace Friendship: A Social Reflexive Exercise

"Among the many issues friendship raises, we believe it existed among us whenever enough threads of intellectual exchange and reciprocated sentiment were present. In our opinion, this entitled our relationship to be termed "workplace friendship."

Friendships are quite important. They prevent us from being in solitude. These friendships developed in the fishbowl, especially with our groups. We exchanged thoughts, and affected each other's views.

Re: Response to Letters: 2nd Abstract: In the beginning

"Our underlying goal is to promote each participant’s self-worth when immersed in the subject material, because we believe it is only then that effectiveness as a group increases."

By allowing our words to flow onto the fishbowl, we are to promote self-worth. It enables us to realize it is important for others to hear what we have to say. It creates value, causing ourselves to be immersed.

Re: Response to Letters: framing the second abstract

Post by darlinggarcia » 30 Nov 2019, 01:06

It is when we really want to write, we face writer's block. However, that is a great sign, all the editing and confusion, it means that there is a passion to construct this abstract.

What we are writing does have value. It depict our own individuality through our choice of words.

Re: Response to Letters: how it looks

"In our groups, we expressed our knowledge content and constructions of meaning as play, spectacle, art, drama, and ritual. We saw our understanding of the subject matter not as radically new but as recognizing kinship within the group, as well as differences between groups."

It is true, in our groups, we expressed both our similarities and differences. However, this aided us into becoming better and working together to finish our assignments.

It was also great to see you as well.

It is great to also observe the diversity in the fishbowl. However, despite all of our differences, we each have the fishbowl in common. We all evoke images through our words. Through our notes, reflections, and vocabulary, we allow one another to view how we see the world and present it to others.

Re: Response to Letters: This morning thus far

At the beginning of the semester, none of us had an idea of what was coming. Now, it is beyond amazing to know that we have been producing a sentence by sentence for the abstract.
I am excited to see what the methodology has listed.

Re: Response to Letters: Take a break, then The Return

I think the introduction is very true in its purest form. As you said, " We found that when constructing meaningful knowledge-content, our effectiveness increased whenever we “engaged” with text and “expressed” our reflections to each other." Our papers are proof of this. With effort, we were able to product content worthy. As groups, our effort was much more powerful, as we did not want to let our teammates down.

I'm beyond excited to see the final submission and who is chosen as an author.

This looks great so far.

The second step caught me the most under Methodology. It makes more sense, why vocabulary kept involving sorting, sifting, and selecting. You wanted us to make sure we knew the true meanings behind the methodology.

Re: Response to Letters: Abstracts and authorship

I am so glad and honored to see my name, but I am also surprised to see my name on the second abstract. I feel as I want to put more effort into the fishbowl. Even if I barely made the cut, it motivates me to do better. In some way, maybe my reflections are more self-revealing than noted.

I am excited to hear the final results. This society is truly building itself on the fishbowl and class.

I admire the fact that you are willing to hear us, the students, out about corrections. That's something most people have to work on. Sometimes, it not even criticisms, rather looking out for one another. Some people lack the ability to respond well to feedback, and that is something that needs to be improved on. It is important for our society to work of the feedback to be better.

Thank you for the opportunity to meet if needed.

I think this will be a great time to finally sit down and transfer my work over from my document to the fishbowl.
