Complex Adaptive Systems
1. A complex adaptive system is a system in which a perfect understanding of the individual parts does not automatically convey a perfect understanding of the whole system's behavior.
Complex - consisting of many different and connected parts
Adaptive- to adjust to a situation
System- a set of things working together as parts of a mechanism or an interconnecting network.

1. Our business in society class is a conglomerate but that does not indicate we are compatible on a friendship level.

Nicole's Felt Experience: Often I find myself with a different view on things than most. This has made some experiences difficult for me. Once I learned that it was good to have your own unique opinion, I started going with it. I stuck to my grounds. Having your own opinion can make you stand out from the rest. My opinion different from my sisters has led us to many arguments. We don’t speak to this day. Not from just one experience but many. She is very private, and I am not as much. I do not go spreading my business around, but she acts as if she is in the CIA. She will not even share her address with my family to send Christmas cards. This to me is excessive, but we are all allowed to have our own opinion and I will honor that.

2. Some people will succeed without a structure and some people will fail.

4. For years I had a flexible schedule, but after accepting my job offer, I will now work 7-3:30 every day.

Re Felt Experience:
Although I did not think that class was overly difficult, I do believe it took sharpness of the mind. We had to master the 10 + 1 process. We had to understand what was wanted from us. We will not always be thoroughly guided. It takes someone special to understand what was being asked. We must be creative within the structure given to us. It allows us to be vulnerable and adapt to new ways of learning. Deep learning.

Realizing to be myself in this course is something I am so happy I have learned. I have learned to take matters into my own hands. You must do what you have to do.
