Notes before social meeting:
-Very excited to go to Mew's today because it's with my Eric and Maia because I have known them for a few years now
-It's going to be nice to catch up with what they've been up to after not seeing them all summer
-I'm hoping we can also have a conversation about the class
Notes after social meeting:
-We had so much fun and we were all so excited to see each other.
-We ate so many good appetizers and had pumpkin beers!
-I got the french onion soup because that's my favorite and so did Maia!
-It was no nice catching up with them hearing about what they did for work all summer long.
-Maia had an internship at Smith Optics all summer and Eric worked at a country club teaching kids tennis.
-We then talked about what classes we're taking, Maia and I have a lot of classes together, so we talked a lot about that.
-In the middle of a great conversation, Eric spilled his pumpkin beer all over the table, which was funny. It got on me. :(
-After appetizers, I got the pink panther pizza, Maia had honey wings, and Eric had a burger.
-We all ended up sharing everything and I'm glad we did.
-We then got another beer and decided to get dessert. I got my own dessert because I was feeling a little fat.
-Then we got a little more personal and talked about our families, friends, and relationships.
-Eric talked about how much he embraces himself, while Maia updated me on her boyfriend.
-We paid the check and then went home because we were all tired from our long dinner.
-Overall, we had a great time and I'm glad we went!
Appetizer & dessert:
Appetizer: Something you eat before an entree
Dessert: A sweet and sugary food consumed after the main course
The appetizer choices didn’t sound appealing, so I got dessert instead.
This wasn’t the case at the social meeting with Maia and Eric at Mews. We got appetizers and I got french onion soup and it was absolutely delicious. It was probably the best appetizers I’ve ever had. Either I was extremely hungry, or they really were. From the appetizer to the main course, everything was so good that we all got dessert. I got my own chocolate cake because it sounded delicious and I didn’t want to share. We were at Mews for so long catching up that I guess we became hungry enough for a three course meal!
Tired & excited:
Tired: Feeling so drained that you’re unmotivated to do anything
Excited: Uncontrollable happiness
Earlier in the day I was so excited to go to the bar with my friends, but now I’m tired and want to go to bed.
When we went to Mews, I wasn’t tired at all, I was extremely excited. Though after eating three courses and talking nonstop I was so tired all I wanted was my bed. It wasn’t even that late, I just had been going all day from my internship to class to Mews. I had a great time with Maia and Eric, but when the check came, I was more than ready to leave and go cuddle up in my bed. After we said our goodbyes, I got in my car and drove home. I had never been so excited to be home and going to sleep.

I’m not the kind of person that likes sharing information about my personal life to people I don’t know.
Maia and Eric are the kind of friends that I don’t mind sharing my personal information with. I’ve known them both since freshman year and consider them two of my closest friends. They’re some of the most trustworthy people I know. They know a lot about me, so our social meeting was more of a hangout. It was nice to use this assignment as a way to catch up with people, I wish this were the case in more classes.
