Responding to Text: Weltman

Response to Making Space:
Everyone reacts differently to things like emotions, words, images, and feelings. The term "making space" is a metaphor for allowing peers and others to feel comfortable working in the fishbowl. Individuals should feel comfortable working with one another and open to looking and learning through different lenses.

Response to re-structuring text:
Restructuring is creating value which others can understand. When we are asked to respond to others texts and letters, we are learning and beginning the process of the fishbowl. This place allows for students to think freely and others to learn and interpret words and different ideas.

Responds to sharing what we see when we read:
In this course, this will be our main way of learning. We can ask each other questions, and give answers in our own opinions. This will be an important part of creating value through learning because we are documenting our though process and making sense of everyones ideas.

New forms of intimacy and friendship response:
Creating intimacy creates value and diversity. It gives us the ability to look and learn beyond the surface. This is what we need in order to gain depth within our fishbowl.

Stimulating a society response:
In the fishbowl we will learn and teach each other. We will watch the growth of individuals and observe the way others think. We can work with each other and bounce ideas off each other.
