Clare: Thinking creatively and being able to swiftly respond to the world around you are important skills to develop in life.
Dom: The vista was an enriching and natural experience that can make anyone’s imagination endless.
Max: The quick mind improves the world it lives in. New ideas help to not only improve the world, but also keep it alive.

Felt Experience:
Clare: When I went abroad to Italy, I was experiencing a whole new culture and way of life. Taking in the surroundings of my home city and enjoying every new place I traveled to has really enriched my life for the better.
Dom: When I was at the Grand Canyon and looking into it, it made my imagination endless. It was an enriching experience and once in a lifetime.
Max: I used to work at a farmstand in my hometown. What was different about this place was that all ideas that any worker had to improve the shop were more than welcome. By the time I left, my fellow co-workers and I had made what was a small roadside shop into a lively and popular stop for many passing by. It was not just that we worked there, but that we used our ideas to improve it that made the place so special.

Felt Experience:
Clare: After college I know I want to live and work in New York City. The fast paced movement of the city inhabitants during the work day and the energy of the night life are where I see my future starting.
Dom: I engaged in a new culture when I went to Italy. It was an opportunity of a lifetime and I would love to go back again someday. Different areas of the world offer different value.
Max: This reminds me of the time I heard the tribute band Badfish for the first time. They are heavily influenced by the band Sublime. While you can hear how they get a lot of their inspiration from the much more famous band, they have so much of their own personality in their music that it is distinctly different and adds so much more.

Final Thoughts:
Clare: In order to truly take in and appreciate what you have in life, it is essential to actively participate in the world around you. What makes everyone’s experiences in life unique is the way we each individually interpret situations. Learning new things and responding to those new viewpoints and ideas will enrich your life in the long run.
Dom: Enjoying the world around us is an important part of growing as a person. Without different cultural experiences, we wouldn’t understand our complicated world as much as we do today.
Max: We can simply sit back and enjoy the world, but to truly live in it we must contribute to the vast wealth of knowledge. Each person contributes their own unique viewpoint, and by sharing it with the world, they create new knowledge for everyone to enjoy. In that way, we can both enjoy the beauty of the world and contribute to it.
