When I arrived Juell was sitting at the bar . We knew each other a little bit from a separate class so I felt like the conversation started out pretty smoothly. I felt like we both tried to initiate conversation, and she seemed like she was confident. The conversation started to dissipate once we began looking out for Zach but resolved itself when he showed up. Zach seemed like a calm and friendly guy and we all just started talking about school, and Rhode Island. We talked a lot about spots to go out and everyone had something on common with each other. The bar was kind of loud so every once in a while I would zone out for a second before rejoining the conversation. Despite that I felt that conversation went pretty well, and after a little while we all went our separate ways.

3 dichotomies
separate, initiate
zone, rejoin
dissipate, resolve

in order to not feel separate someone has to initiate.
To get along with someone and not feel apart from the conversation people have to initiate and try to bring people into the conversation.

Once I got a beer I got in the zone and rejoined the conversation

I feel like having a drink really helped to make things go smoothly. It was a solid environment and having a drink helped us get off of the what your major talk pretty quickly.

I resolved to not dissipate from the conversation

My personality usually means that I tend to take a backseat role when I’m not with people that I know very well. I didn’t want the conversation to be rigid so I stayed engaged more than I usually would in a situation like that.

The metaphysical abstractions of our consciousness, if available, will follow a path

the metaphysical abstractions of our consciousness are chronicled and condensed into action matter, if and when, when we engage with our peers or ourselves in a tangible way.

ideas and theories exist in the non material world of thought. I have had a lot of ideas about businesses to start, books to write, and ventures to engage in. While I love to ponder and think about these, I have realized that they are only real if you engage with them in a real way. I've learned that the abstract idea has to be willed into solid reality if it will ever exist in the tangible world. Conducting the work that gives form to abstraction isn't the fun part, but without this work we are simply daydreaming. Currently I am working on starting a sales business which before recently only existed in the abstract world.
