Metaphor
A metaphor is a bridge between the concrete world and the abstract mind, linking something known to the senses with an abstraction of the mind, always working to describe the abstract with the concrete:

An image is a platform connecting the tangible world and the complex mind, combining something familiar to the psyche
An image is the bond connecting the real world to the complex soul.

Given an account with words
By applying speech to our actions, we can connect amid two objects of existing materials that exist in our thoughts. Our faculty of consciousness connects us with familiar impressions put forth to help us function within society.
Felt experience
As we progress through life, I realize just how important the existence of thoughts are. I think the ways to connect our thoughts breeds the aid of consciousness and feelings. It’s important to connect and bond through our intuition and judgements. By functioning together, we can extend ourselves to one another to be connected to humanity.
Condensed and simplified Idea: by building upon our thoughts, we can create an abstract product to serve the greater good

Strictly Ballroom

PARADIGM: a typical example or pattern of something; a model.
Synonyms: Model, pattern, example, standard

“Metaphor and Design as an approach to understanding social reality (like your fishbowls), and as an approach to change, belongs to the social-constructionist school of thought. It is underpinned by the idea that human awareness and knowledge have an unfolding transformative potential and that the images and ideas people hold of themselves and their world have a fundamental impact on how their realities unfold…”

One of my favorite quotes from the movie was Fran stating “What happened to a life lived in fear and all that stuff?” I thought this was a great statement because sometimes as individuals, we get too caught up in what is standard and what we think we should be doing based on the “Status quo”. We need to look around and observe our surroundings to really appreciate what we have in front of us. When we appreciate what we have and what we can do, the better things are to come.

I think as an individual it was hard for me to move away from my home state of Virginia and move to Rhode Island. But for me, I saw this as an opportunity to grow and see myself in a new light.
