That we can know so much, recognize so much, dissect, do everything, and yet we can’t always grasp it!
Paradoxically, what we can grasp is the truth of who we ourselves are. Who are we, really, when we silence the vanity of who we should be?
Revealing ourselves to our selves, self realization, shaped by our experiences and constant reshaping or analysis of our concepts.
Cyclical in the spirit of realizing further by further experience that is shaped by past experience and previous realizations.
Recycling our concepts finding new purpose for them or even standing by the ones that have proven trustworthy.
Exploration of self and how that pertains to external interaction is where the practice is done and tools sharpened metaphorically.
Internally work is done through conceptualizing, being mindful, filtering outside stimulation into your interpretation.
What we can grasp, as you said, is our truth, we shape our reality with our thoughts and attitudes towards it.
The vanity illusion can take complete control, sweeps people up with its charm, but that veil must be pierced as well.
Who we really are transcends vanity, that’s where a purpose exists, in being with ones we love as our true self’s and continuing to unfold what that actually means.
