Social Meeting

Post by daniel_chagnon » 25 Sep 2019, 14:25

I arrived at Christine’s house right around one-thirty. I beat Joe there because he lost his keys for a while. We gather at her kitchen table and talked for a couple of minutes. We talked about where we were from. Joe and Christine are both from Massachusetts while I am from New Jersey. We all got along pretty well. It was easy to talk to the two of them as they were both outgoing. Joe said how it was so nice out so we decided to go out to the backyard and play cornhole. We played for about a half-hour then we parted our ways.

Beat-strike (a person or an animal) repeatedly and violently so as to hurt or injure them, typically with an implement such as a club or whip.
Pretty-attractive in a delicate way without being truly beautiful or handsome.
Outgoing-friendly and socially confident.
Nice-pleasant; agreeable; satisfactory.
Play-engage in activity for enjoyment and recreation rather than a serious or practical purpose.
Parted-(of two things) move away from each other.

Nice-beat
Play-parted
Outgoing-pretty

It was nice that John beat me to the check.
I parted from the vicious play for my health's sake.
The outgoing waitress was also very pretty.
