• We are creating an essay that needs to be submitted online
o Went over the steps in class
• Everything needs to be posted on the fishbowl
o If you don’t then you do not get a grade
• By December fourth,
o He wants to see a hard copy of the list of the following
 All the sentences we have created in the 10 + 1 assignment
• The assignment that we did
 Minimum of 16 sentences needed to be shown
• Under those are the dichotomies
o Could have a few more
 You need to circle 15 words from these
• From the sentences
• Then put these words into five boxes
o Two words inside and one outside
 With the three words, you are creating a sentence
 Always take your words further
• You are making five sentences
o At the end you are doing it together
 You will create 5 sentences together
 Choose a combined 5, take already made sentences
 Need to have a hard copy as well
• If you cannot give a smart answer when someone ask you something, you will be regarded as dumb
• Sanjiv’s job is to take care of our grade and our career
• We have too many distractions in life
o We need to drink beer together and do our work
o Look out for one another!
 We need to collaborate through friendship
• We have plenty of time
o Need to be together on the same page at the same time

• By doing the letters, you go from an B+ to an A-
• By doing just a little bit of work, you get a B if you have been following along
• By going in-depth in the fish bowl about the letters, you are able to get close to an A
• Exam is due the 18th
• Your final is done collectively through the internet with your group
o You have your final model and your final 5 sentences
o He is going to be sending us an article
 Business section of NY Times
 That is what we are going to be reading
 3 pages double spaced
• Introduction
• First paragraph is starting with one of your five sentences
o Under that is a few sentences from the article
o In this paragraph, you are going to be using the sentence to work with
• Five paragraphs just like this
• 2 paragraphs per page
• Needs to be a conclusion paragraph
• 7 paragraphs in total
o It is nice that we understand one another now from a whole semester of doing this!
o You can until the end, switch up your sentences if they don’t make sense, you just tweak them
 You should be changing them, all the time
• Make notes of this!
o You need to fit it no matter what! Tweak it if need be!
o All stems from the fishbowl
o The introduction is two to three sentences
 You are setting up what the reader is going to be reading in the next three pages
 Need to have the title to the article
o You need to post it that Wednesday at three o’clock
 Has to be posted on the fishbowl at that time
• People should not post early, for fear of others looking at it
o You should be reading and examining others as well
 Learn from them
 Think about them
• “This class is not that confusing”
• Sanjiv will be here next Wednesday if we need help
o If you are concerned about your grade, come talk then
o If you need to talk, come
• If you are behind, play catchup
• He will be sending us a few more letters
o Closure will be coming
o 4- 5 more letters
o The semester will be going on till the final
• Those who have been on the job and doing well can now take a back seat and relax and coast

o Started in the corporate world
o Was an electronic engineer
o Company was in LA
o Loves entertainment
o 20 years in the corporate world
o Shot a lot of product videos
o Made a movie in 2011
 Did it with a digital camera
 Claims that he was one of the first camera digital artists that blew up
 He now writes script
• Is Giving us examples of prior movies that have been made form the class
• Getting a slide show now of his recording studio area
o About 30k worth of stuff
o Over 40 guitars
o Has some sweet music
 Written about water
