Learning through osmosis
Take words he says and post it under vocabulary with the definitions
Re means change. Redesigning the way we make decisions and we're doing it so better ourselves.
A market thinking of design in creating a living text. If it's not a living text it is dead space. Nothing is going on there

After meeting copy down what each person said when each person showed up. The longer the better for the exercise
From notes circle 6 words. Pairing the 6 words into 3 pairs the words your pairing up are not associated with each other. As different as possible.
Go into the dictionary for those words and your writing it out ane creating simple sentences. You will have 3 sentences.
These sentences are the framework for ou to interrupt your social meeting. What is framing what is interpreting?

Nuance:
We select nuance because we want to determine our differences.
Why do we want to do this? Because that's how we are creating value
First-person action research: GOOGLE SEARCH
Start looking at words as ideas and symbols. So we must understand what a symbol is.
Learning to create design between the 3 of us with these ideas coming to us and we need to sort them. It represents us.
Those on the electronic side of things are making more money. Hands-on jobs are getting left behind.
We are learning to abstract
We want to stay rooted in reality which means our abstraction are models and designs. Is it rooted in reality?
Design of an organization has to do with the identity of an organization
We would always have the same iPhone if there was no organization innovating new things
Critique: how about if you thought about it in another way. Once you understand this you want people to critique you.
Get into the habit of hanging onto words.
Textural turn: like a revolution and things changed after that.
We are creating these realities through the words we select
Cultural shock or cultural value: these things are measurable.
We want to talk about bountiful
Experience is dependent on your social relations among your group.
Assignment 1reminder: writing about your feelings, after the social meeting is over write off your memory. “She said this, He said this” all observation no interpretation. Circle 6 words which represent what happened in your experience. Words are symbols. Put 2 words together that are not closely aligned. Set up a challenge for yourself. Make a sentence between the words. A sentence is a structure and a structure is how things relate to each other. Creating a pool of words. Gather a pool of words after defining these 2 words then make a structure (sentence) there will be 3 paragraphs. One sentence in each paragraph with every 2 words.
The universal must match the particular. The particular is what happened in the social meeting.
Feelings are at the forefront
When you take the machine as a metaphor: you have an image of a machine. Then out down the words which you associate with that image: interconnected, moving parts, wash. Images create a mental space, the metaphor determines the behavior.

Every metaphor has its own vocabulary.
These emotions are real because of the machine. Gradings of performance
In the machine metaphor, you cannot handle emotion because nobody knows what to say.
You give your whole life to an organization and they run on the machine metaphor

“How did you like my dance over the weekend” “I don't know” could not communicate his words.
The audience has come into the forefront. Everyone wants the largest audience. The only way out is to create a living text. When you follow it becomes dead space.

Impact of postings, and experience of engagement with each other, new processes and methods of doing things
Changing the way you think: requires you to identify how you do think and then it requires to show evidence to when and where you changed your thinking process.
How has to do with the words you choose. Substituting words to make it very simple and clear for yourself. Keep substituting
Learning takes place upon reflection it occurs afterward so learning occurs upon a reflection and it has a realization
We are enhancing our understanding, the outcome is getting deep learning (google search)
What you do with google searches is scroll through it and looking for one sentence which helps you to understand what you're doing in the fishbowl. Constructing structures. You want to know the author's name and their techniques. So if we are asked to google a name study it and pull out a sentence
Pick a sentence you are comfortable with so deconstruct it and make it simple.
