New Forms of intimacy and friendship
Google: 1999 Reith Lectures, entitled ‘Runaway World’, the sociologist Anthony Giddens makes the following claim “ There is a global revolution going on in how we think of ourselves and how we form ties and connections with others”
Intimacy- a close, familiar, deep understanding of something or someone
Agency- an organization, company, that provides some service for another
Emotion – any of the feelings of joy, sorrow, fear, hate ect.
Creativity- the ability to transcend traditional ideas, tules, patterns, relationships, to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretation
Self – a person or thing referred to with respect to complete individuality
Form- external appearance of a clearly defined area, to make/produce
Friendship – a friendly relation or intimacy to another
Being in a State of Becoming
Theory- a coherent group of tested general propositions, commonly regarded as correct, that can be used as principles of explanation/prediction for a class of phenomena
Term- a word or group of words designating something
Generative- capable of producing or creating something
Influence- the capacity or power of person or things to be compelling force on or producing effects on the actions, behaviors, opinions of others
Resemblance- similarity, likeness in appearance
Imitation – the result or product of imitating
Analogy – a similarity between like features of two things, on which a comparison may be based
