Excited/astounding: When I got my dog I was so excited, it was astounding to me that I finally had one of my own!
When I was younger, all I wanted was a puppy. I wanted one so badly that my mom made a joke one year and bought me a pet rock for Christmas. Looking back at it now, that was hilarious. However, years later, she went to a poodle breeder and we ended up getting my dog, Riley. He sold him to us and said he was "goofy", so we said that it perfect for us and got him.
Similar/inquired: My best friend and I are so similar, often we are inquired on whether we are related.
When you hang out with somebody often enough, they are sure to rub off on you. My best friend and I spend a tremendous amount of time together and know each other inside and out. Growing up, we would be asked if we were related, and remain inseparable. We always thought it was hilarious, and would often go along with it and say yes we are.
Typical/impressed: With typical artwork in yard sales, I was impressed to find an expensive painting in my neighborhood
Going to yardsales is one of my favorite things to do. Every year, my neighborhood has a yard sale where people sell their things and the rest of us walk around. There is a particular artist that my family likes to buy his paintings, and I just so happened to find one at a yard sale. I was so surprised because it is such an unusual artist, but nonetheless I got it and was so excited that I found it.
