Final Thoughts

Integrated networking system to me means the simplest form of communication that is grounded, well established, and used by a mass. To strum up a real life example I think of IT solutions. For example, in IT solutions an integrated networking system consists of dedicated specialists in technology who provide services and software to support a business by making it more productive. The biggest thing is teamwork which sprouts from great communication. These IT specialists integrate technology into business operations that bring up their level of productivity.

Unique innovative capabilities to me means a unique, new, groundbreaking ideology. Something we are all capable of doing. We often get caught up in the process of building our capabilities to the point where we don’t create anything unique or innovative with them. The utilization is poor and the innovations success seems replicated. For example, in the workplace you are creating a new marketing campaign for an existing client. You cannot use your old ideas or even try to replicate past success. It must be new and fresh. Instead, you take your own learning experiences and shape them campaigns context and content to your innovation. You decide to not use other marketing ideas because they are not your experiences. What makes your marketing campaign unique is your own choices with it.

Dynamic decision making in its simplest form is making decisions in a changing environment. The environment has changed due to the previous decisions made or outside events the decision maker can’t control. In a real life situation dynamic decision making can be a range of things. Anything from choosing what you’re going to eat for dinner that night, to deciding the feasibility of a product in a new market will be successful or not. For example, there is an established market for a toy company of that toy wants to expand its borders and reach into South America. To make this decision you use a past company decisions and your experience to analyze the market and determine the feasibility and the success rate.

Complex adaptive systems is a system where having a perfect understanding of each individual part does not generate a perfect understanding of the system as a whole. In a real life situation everything could be a complex adaptive system. For example, the climate. You can understand each part of the climate and weather, but it doesn't mean you understand it’s behavior because climate is ever changing. The stock market. There are economic and stock professionals that study the market day in and day out but it doesn’t mean they can predict it’s behavior and when it should go up or down because there are so many other counter parts to it. The brain. One of the greatest complex adaptive systems in our body. Neurosurgeons study the rain and it’s many parts for a living, but not every “why?” is answered.

This course not only taught me an abundance of new vocabulary words, but it also taught me how to connect words and sentence structures through individual experiences and how to connect with my classmates and group members on a new and different level. This is the most I have met face to face with a group for a course before. I used to hate meeting with group members to complete an assignment. But by doing this it made the assignments and the course a little more tolerable. I enjoyed meeting and getting to know Isabella and Matt and value how hardworking they are. The most hardworking group members I have met or done any assignments with. It’s refreshing working with students like that.
