Complex: It became obvious the coursework at URI would become more COMPLICATED as my years went on, as my classes became more focused on real world aspects.
Adaptive: It is important to be FLEXIBLE in today's society, whether it comes to schedules or open mindedness to a topic.
Systems: The way society is today is in COORDINATION with the structures that have been put in place, by setting a standard of how people should act and how much money is enough.
Step 4: Felt Experience
When deciding to come to URI, many things had to be taken into consideration. Many factors pointed towards me attending here, but some also COMPLICATED it. Being out of state was both a pro and a con in my eyes. I knew if I came here I would have to be FLEXIBLE in my lifestyle choices, by getting out of my comfort zone and doing tings I have never tried before. The flexibility would also come into play when choosing my class times, because I know I cannot always have my top choices. I worked in COORDINATION with my parents and adviser to make an informed decision on where to attend school.
