Use your voice to express your beliefs and what it most important to you. If you want an action to have an impact you must express those words that'll reach those around.

Voice: sound produced by vertebrates by means of lungs, larynx, or syrinx
Sound: the sensation perceived by the sense of hearing
Action: the accomplishment of a thing usually over a period of time, in stages, or with the possibility of repetition
Fact: Something that has actual existence
Fiction: something invented by the imagination or feigned
Coalesce: to grow together
Agency: a person or thing through which power is exerted or an end is achieved
Silence: the absence of sound or noise
Non-Cooperation: failure or refusal to cooperate, especially as a form of protest

Hands-on and visually learning helps us know that these things are happening and they are real.

Mind: the conscious mental events and capabilities in an organism
Mental: of or relating to intellectual as contrasted with emotional activity
Cerebral: of or relating to the brain or the intellect
Cognitive: of, relating to, being, or involving conscious intellectual activity
Material: relating to, derived from, or consisting of matter
Reify: to consider or represent (something abstract) as a material or concrete thing: to give definite content and form to (a concept or idea)
Tendency: a proneness to a particular kind of thought or action

As our Professor is reading through our papers he is creating his own meaning which is how it becomes a real-time process. The idea of expressing your own knowledge and felt experiences, it brings others to do the same.

Simultaneous: existing or occurring at the same time
Reading: a particular interpretation of something
Writing: to form (characters, symbols, etc.) on a surface with an instrument (such as a pen)
Diverse: differing from one another
Pattern: something designed or used as a model for making things
Meaning: the thing one intends to convey especially by language
Produce: to offer to view or notice
Evolve: to throw or give off or out

Cybernetics and your Fishbowls + Vocab

We are connecting through the fishbowl and adding our valuation and creation. When more than one person comes together there is a better creation and more minds to create something huge.

Complex: a whole made up of complicated or interrelated parts
Cybernetics: the science of communication and control theory that is concerned especially with the comparative study of automatic control systems (such as the nervous system and brain and mechanical-electrical communication systems)
Codify: to reduce to a code
Phenomenology: the study of the development of human consciousness and self-awareness as a preface to or a part of philosophy

Ask 'how so?' after everything you say, it allows you to expand your mind and dig deeper.

Reflecting on One's History + Vocab

We are all working as a team to become a resource for one another. As we indulge in the fishbowl we are giving each other advice/ words to respond with emotion. Creating a network is important especially in terms of classmates and people who will be able to help you get to where you want to be.

Systematic: presented or formulated as a coherent body of ideas or principles
Interplay: mutual or reciprocal action or influence
Reflective: to prevent the passage of and cause to change direction
Centrality: the quality or state of being central
